We currently have an open position for a describer. Duties include the descriptive writing and research of items being placed to auction (firearms, edged weapons and military artifacts). Applicant should have a passion for, and extensive knowledge of, antique firearms. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual. If you have the desire, and are open to learning a new area of the firearms business, this could be a new career for you.
Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Office, be able to type 40+ wpm and lift 50 lbs. All work is done on site; therefore applicants must live with 30 miles of our facility. Full and part-time positions are available. Some weekend work is required. Pay is commensurate with experience and knowledge level. Please include in your cover letter the genre or area of firearms you are most knowledgeable in.
RIAC is seeking a still life photographer. We are known for our outstanding catalogs filled with photographs of a quality not seen anywhere else in the firearm auction business. We will train you in all aspects of this specialized type of photography. Subject material to include but is not limited to collectible antique and modern firearms as well as historical military memorabilia. A minimum of one year of solid experience or an associate or bachelor degree in Graphics, Videography or Art is required. A strong interest in history and firearms is a definite plus.
This is a full-time 1st shift position, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday with some overtime and weekend work required. Starting wage is $13.50 an hour with health, dental and vision benefits available after 90 days.
Customer Service Representative
We are a unique, rapidly growing company who is seeking several outgoing customer oriented people to join our exceptional Customer Service Department.
Duties to consist of, but not limited to, reaching out to our clients regarding various auction services, i.e., catalog purchasing, placing bids, winning bids, arranging shipping, resolving issues and overall providing excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
If you enjoy dealing with some of the nicest people around, then working for the #1 firearms auction house in the world might be the job for you! Proven call center or customer service experience is required. Must be proficient with Word and Outlook, Access is a plus. We are looking to fill first and second shift positions. First shift hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., second shift hours are part-time 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. – both shifts require some overtime and weekend work. Starting salary is $12.50 per hr. The full-time position is offered benefits after 90 days.
