| Description: | The lock plate is marked "Mre Rle / de Tulle", "Mle 1837" on upper tang and "1839" on the breech plug. Brass barrel band, trigger guard, and buttcap. An anchor is stamped on the buttcap and inspector marks are present on many of the components. Swivel iron ramrod and a belt hook mounted on the left side. | ||
| Condition: | Very good. The iron surfaces have been cleaned some time ago and are beginning to age again. There is some very scattered minor pitting. The brass has a polished appearance. The stock is very fine with some minor dings and scratches. | ||

| Description: | The lock plate is marked "Mre Rde / Chatellerault", "Mle 1837" on upper tang and "1687" on the right side of barrel at the breech, with "1687" repeated on the underside of the barrel band and on the right side of the grip area. An anchor is stamped on the buttcap and inspector marks are present on many of the components. Swivel iron ramrod and a belt hook mounted on the left side. | ||
| Condition: | Very good. The iron surfaces have been cleaned some time ago and are beginning to age again. There is extensive minor pitting on the back strap and lock plate, with some pin point pitting overall. The brass has a polished appearance. The stock has a contrasting wood filled repair around the lock plate, otherwise the stock is fine with some minor dings and scratches. | ||
