Description:Originally thought to be employee-made "lunch box" guns, later evidence identified these bolt action pistols as Winchester factory prototypes. Built around a Model 1902-style single shot bolt action receiver with a tapered barrel. Blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with nickel finished bolt and the remains of the original barrel marking on the upper left side of the receiver. Installed in a carved ambidextrous grip, with raised floral decoration, "1934" on the right side, "CB" on the left, and a checkered grip with "A" scratched into the bottom.
Condition:Excellent, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing only a few minor handling marks. A tiny chip is absent from the rear of the grip, which is otherwise excellent. Mechanically excellent.
