| Description: | The left receiver wall is marked with the two line address/patent date marking with the serial number on chamber. The left side of the barrel has the two line nickel steel marking below the adjustable buckhorn rear sight, two line address stamped ahead of the rear sight, and "236 USN" stamped on top of the barrel at the breech. Smooth pistol grip half stock with hard rubber factory grip cap, finger groove Schnabel forearm, and shotgun style iron buttplate. Included are two boxes of Winchester 6mm cartridges (boxes have a protective transparent wrapping), an empty UMC 6mm U.S. Navy cartridge box, an empty Remington 6mm U.S. Navy box, and an empty UMC 246 Remington box. | ||
| Condition: | Very good. The rifle retains 20% original blue finish with the balance a mottled gray patina. There is a gouge near the muzzle (left side). The stock is also good with a crack in the grip area, a chip missing near the stock toe, and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine. | ||
