| Description: | A barrel cluster rib is stamped "PATENTED 1837 CAST STEEL" with "ALLEN & THURBER WORCESTER", (faint), on another rib. The hammer is marked "ALLEN'S PATENT" on the left side. The frame and recoil shield have a floral scroll engraving. Matching number on frame, barrel cluster and both grip panels. Fitted with smooth varnished grips. | ||
| Condition: | Very good. The metal surfaces have a smooth brown patina. The grips are good with a moderate gouge on the left panel and some minor pressure dents. The action is fine. | ||

| Description: | Manufactured circa 1864 to 1870. Brooklyn address on top of the barrel with patent marking on the cylinder. The silver plated brass frame has a scroll and punch dot engraving on the sides with engraved recoil shields. Small hinged swivel gate mounted on the right side of the barrel lug and fitted with smooth two-piece walnut grips. | ||
| Condition: | Very fine. The revolver retains 75% original silver finish which is darkening with age on the barrel and cylinder. Finish loss is concentrated on the frame and the exposed brass has an aged patina. The grips are very good with scattered minor dings and some high edge wear. The markings are faint but legible. The action is fine. | ||
