| Description: | This is a unique example of a French single shot percussion ring gun. The band of the ring is marked "LE PETIT PROTECTOR" flanked by a light floral engraving. Brass construction with the small parts blue finished iron. The case has a Le Petit Protector silver oval maker plate on top of the lid. The interior of the case is lined in green velvet. The included wooden cartridge box fits inside the ring (cartridges are inside). | ||
| Condition: | Very fine. The brass has an untouched aged patina. The small parts retain 40% original blue finish. Mechanically fine. The case is also very fine showing very minor wear. | ||
