Full-time Customer Service Representative

Essential Job Functions
• Customer contact regarding various auction services
o Catalog purchasing, placing bids, winning bids, shipment arrangements, etc.
• Maintains customer accounts by updating account information
• Keeps records of customer interactions
• Follows communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Handles confidential and pertinent information, taking payment information, addresses and phone numbers
• Documents customer concerns or service problems by clarifying and/or finding the appropriate person to expedite resolution
• Builds client-business relationships with premium clientele
• Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions
• Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Meet personal/team targets and call quotas
• Other duties as assigned

Full-time Inventory Production Specialist

Rock Island Auction Company, the World’s #1 auction house for collectable firearms and military memorabilia has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Inventory Production Specialist. If you enjoy firearms and history, this is the job for you!

Essential Job Functions
• Processes incoming inventory
• Moves inventory within the warehouse and production floor
• Accurately completes forms and documentation of the product as well as any customer instructions
• Handles inventory/collectables in a safe and respectful manner
• Ability to travel and pick up incoming inventory
• Completes all logs and documentation timely as required by RIAC and all State and Federal agencies
• Complies with all government and company regulations at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Job Specific Requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus
• Highly organized and motivated
• Type 50 wpm
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record
• No DUI record for the last 7 years
• Ability to obtain certification through a DOT physical, written and driving test (Company paid)

• Overtime and some weekend work may be required
• Travel approximately 30% of the time with the ability to be on the road from a day trip to a week at a time

Full-time 2nd Shift Product Photographer

Summary
Rock Island Auction Company, the World’s #1 auction house is seeking a full-time Product Photographer for second shift. Subject material includes, but not limited to collectable, antique, and modern firearms, as well as historical military memorabilia. As a Product Photographer, your photography will be used for our catalog production, which is well known throughout the industry. We have received two Pewter Prizes in the Business Catalog Category at the Gold Ink Awards, the industry’s most prestigious print competition. Other areas your photography will be used includes: flyers, brochures, local and national publications, video productions, web and social media content, online bidding platforms, and in live auction displays. If you have an interest in history and firearms you will truly appreciate being part of our team!

Essential Job Functions
• Ability to safely handle firearms and collectables at all times
• Produce photographs that accurately convey details, finishes, colors, and textures that are true to life without the use of any post-processing software
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of quality
• Effectively react to feedback in a timely manner
• Work independently and maintain focus
• Properly operate studio equipment such as camera, lighting equipment, props and accessories, and specialized photography fixtures

Training will involve all aspects of the specialized photography and will take place on first shift, 8am to 5pm, for approximately 3-6 weeks. We are looking to fill this full time, second shift position, 4pm to 1am, Monday through Friday, with some overtime and weekend work required. Starting wage is $13.50 per hour plus benefits.
