U.S. Bird Head Pommel officer's sword. Beautifully carved grip with intricate guard and pommel. Etched, gold highlighted, and blued 30 1/2" long blade. With brass scabbard featuring dual hanger rings. The sword measures 35 1/2 inches overall. Very good overall with about 75% blue on the blade, most of the gold highlight, chips on the grip, and slightly loose guard.
