Cased Pair of Engraved and Relief Carved Continental European Style Target/Duelling Pistols
A) Continental Style Percussion Pistol
OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
NPRF - NON-PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED/COLD BLUE, ETC.
The pistols have faint Damascus type patterns on the barrels, flourishes of floral scroll engraving on the remainder of the metal, and ornately floral relief carved stocks with fluted grips. They are housed in a fitted hardwood case that also holds an included cleaning rod, ramrod, flask, capping tool, two cleaning rod attachments, ball mold, and mallet.
