Description:
1) Light colored horn carved with two bands near the spout and lightly inscribed with the image of a warship on one side and "TIMOTHY/COBB HIS/HORN MARCH/12 1760" on the other. Base plug is hardwood. Measures approximately 9 1/2" overall. 2) Massive light colored horn carved with a band and fluted section near the spout, and a small raised triangle with the initials "TM" on the body. Measures approximately 17 3/4" overall. Both are good showing moderate wear and an attractive aged patina.
