A) Tower Pattern 1856 Enfield Smoothbored Short Rifle
OF - FAIR- some major parts replaced; minor replacement parts may be required; metal rusted, may be lightly pitted all over, vigorously cleaned; rounded edges of metal and wood; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal partly obliterated; wood scratched, bruised, cracked or repaired where broken; in fair working order or can be easily repaired and placed in working order.
"Crown/VR" and "1857/TOWER" marked lock, "154" marked on bayonet lug. Includes leather sling with beaded decorations, and U.S. Armed Forces affidavit bring back paper from Bagram, Afghanistan dated August 17, 2016 listing this rifle by make, model, manufacture date and serial number.
B) Enfield Pattern 1853 Smoothbored Artillery Carbine
