The factory letter lists this pistol in .38 caliber with a 6 inch barrel and blue finish and "Special Features: Furnished with a stub (round) hammer." It was part of a shipment of three guns of this type sold to Stauffer Eshelman & Co. of New Orleans and shipped to A. Baldwin Co. of New Orleans on March 10, 1902. Converted from a "sight safety."
