A) Engraved Bacon Mfg. Co. "Navy Model" Revolver
OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
Manufactured in the early 1860s.
B) Scarce Plant's Manufacturing Co. Second Model Iron Frame Front Loading "Army" Revolver
OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
Only approximately 350 manufactured in this configuration c. mid 1860s. "M&B / N.Y." marked on the left of the frame ahead of the cylinder. The unique design of these revolvers featured a combination of front loading and interchangeable cylinders allowing for firing a metallic cartridges or muzzle loading percussion.
