Frame manufactured c. 1875-1881 and later fitted with an unmarked custom barrel and schuetzen stock with Swiss buttplate. "33-40 POPE" marked on top of the frame.

Very good as professionally refinished with handling marks, softened markings, and some spotting. Wood is very fine with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
