A) U.S. Springfield M2 Training Rifle with Army Shipping Document

Description:

"SA/(flaming bomb)/7-37" marked barrel, "M2" model nomenclature on the receiver, matching number electrostenciled on the bolt, open box "S.A./R" cartouche stamped on the left of the stock. Fitted with an M1923 tan canvas web sling. Includes a March 13, 1957 dated Army shipping document listing this rifle by serial number as sold to an individual in Omaha, Nebraska.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with some light pitting visible underneath the finish on the barrel band. Stock is also very fine with a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with a few patches of light pitting visible underneath the finish. Stock is also fine as lightly sanded and re-oiled, with some light scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
