Description:

Receiver manufactured May 1941. "S-A 2-41" marked barrel, "-2SA" bolt, "D-35449-SA" marked gas cylinder with single slot gas plug, "-5-SA" trigger housing, "-1-SA" trigger guard, "-2 SA" hammer, "-6SA" safety, "3 SA" unmodified operating rod, faded boxed "S.A./G.H.S." and crossed cannons cartouche stamps on the left stock wrist, boxed "C-SAA" San Antonio Arsenal post-war rebuild cartouche stamped on the right wrist, with a boxed "P" proof stamp on the front of the pistol grip and a faded circled "P" proof behind the trigger guard. Includes a green canvas web sling, CMP hardcase, shipping box, one en bloc clip, and consignor supplied data sheet.

Rating Definition:

Very good as arsenal refurbished and subsequently restored back to World War II configuration, with cycling wear and some areas of scattered light freckling. Stock is also very good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered light scratches and some mild dents, and lightly visible stamps. Mechanically excellent.
