A very attractive DWM Model 1900 Presentation Luger pistol with a period retailer engraved and gold inlaid "CR" monogram on the chamber. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, early style wide trigger guard, grip safety, fast tapered barrel, checkered safety lever, dished toggles with latch, and flat breech block. The barrel is marked with "crown/B," "crown/G," and "crown/U" proofs, while the extension and front toggle are marked with "crown/B" and "crown/U" proofs. Matching visible serial numbers on the frame and barrel, with matching "71" partials on the takedown lever, trigger, side plate, both toggles, breech block, and grip safety. Fitted with a finely figured set of unmarked replacement checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with unmarked hardwood base. Includes a hardwood presentation case marked "Deutscher Offizier-Verein/BERLIN" on the lid of the green felt interior, with an extra nickel finished magazine with unmarked hardwood base, an original copy of the "Die Pistole 08" booklet, cleaning rod, takedown tool, punch, and key.

Exceptionally fine overall, retaining 90% plus period retailer refinished blue and 80% straw colors with light edge wear, some thinning on the grip frame, and crisp engravings. The non-factory replacement grips are near mint. The case very fine with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
