The lock is marked with "I/FARMER/1744" at the tail, the Georgian cipher at the middle, and a "crown/broad arrow" below the non-bridled pan. The brass barrel flares to 1 3/8 inches at the muzzle (bore estimated above) and has "crown/P" and "crown/V proofs on the upper left at the breech. It is mounted with brass furniture, including a Brown Bess style side plate.
