Rating Definition:

Excellet with approximately 85% of the brown Damascus pattern finish remaining with a mix of smooth dark patina and mottled brown patina towards the breech. Most of the Damascus pattern is visible. The upper tang, hammer and lock plate retain approximately 95% the original bright case colors. The wood is excellent with some minor to moderate scratches, dings and chips and some moderate gouges. There are some minor nicks in the overall sharp checkering. The horn forend tip is cracked. The markings and engraving are crisp. Mechanically excellent.
