Description:

Fixed blade and notch rear sights on a barrel flat that is script marked "J. Fleeger". The lock plate is engraved with a bird field scene. One-piece full length tiger stripe straight grip stock with double triggers, brass crescent buttplate, trigger guard, side plate, forend cap, ferrules (three), barrel wedges (three) and patch box with patches and a silver star-like inlay on the left buttstock with slightly raised cheekpiece. With wooden ramrod.

Rating Definition:

Good as period converted to percussion with the barrel exhibiting a dark mottled patina and high edge wear. The brass has been cleaned at one time and is now beginning to age again. The inlay is beginning to silver out. There are traces of the engraving remaining and the barrel markings are visible.
