The top of the barrel and receiver have a single 'P' proof mark and the lower right side of the barrel has the US single 'P/Flame and Shell' proof of the US Ordnance inspector. The left side of the receiver is marked 'Model 620' and farther back is has the small 'US' proof. and Single brass bead sight on top of the bayonet lug fitted at the muzzle. The barrel is fitted with the standard six hole heat shield with the 1917 pattern bayonet lug, with the large swivel bail with a small letter 'S' on the left side of the lug with a single small brass bead front sight. The shotgun features the correct plain walnut slide handle and a plain pistol grip stock with a black plastic serrated butt plate and sling swivels.

Rating Definition:

Very good with approximately 40% of the original blue finish remaining. The shotgun has the normal wear loss on the edges and high spots with the bulk of the finish loss concentrated on the upper portion of the receiver and rear section of the barrel which looks like some one spilled some kind of cleaning solution or solvents in this area. The heat shield has a small break in the perforations directly behind the bayonet lug area and the lug itself has some surface oxidation on 50% of the lug. The pump handle and stock have a couple of areas of light pressure dents or handling marks but both are solid with no cracks or damage.
