Cased Warrington Marked British Double Action Revolver with Accessories

The top strap is marked "G. HIGHAM WARRINGTON" and the right side of the frame is marked "PATENT 2321". British proofed barrel and cylinder. Five round unfluted cylinder, ramrod attached to the left side of the frame, post front and integral notch rear sight, all blue finish and fitted with a one-piece checkered walnut grip. Complete in a wooden case with inset brass disk on the lid, blue felt lining with 10 compartments. In the case is a powder flask, oiler, ebony handled cleaning rod, ebony handled nipple wrench, rosewood handled screwdriver, Eley Bros. cap tin (partially full), and a tin with two 38 caliber conical bullets and about 100 small round lead bullets.

ConditionPeriod refinished. The revolver retains 98% bright blue finish overall with a protective coat of varnish applied overall. A majority of the barrel has a high polish finish with scattered flaking and the remainder of the parts have a dull, dark blue finish with scattered minor spotting. The grip is excellent with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is very good. The case is good with scattered minor dings and scratches on the exterior and some soiling and minor contact wear on the lining. The oiler is discolored, otherwise the accessories are all good or better.
