Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address/patent dates with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide, and the right is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" followed by the Rampant Colt. The trigger guard is marked "5/VP" on the left and "71" on the right. Checkered stamped trigger, wide hammer, long grip safety, serrated arched mainspring housing, and Keyes-Fibre grips. With a Service Model Ace conversion kit, serial number V1527, with manual in an unnumbered Black Box.
