This is a nice representative example of a Brazilian contract Model 1908 rifle. The front receiver ring is marked with the Brazilian crest on top, "MOD. 1908." on the right side and a "B", serial number circled "B" on the left side. The left receiver wall is marked "DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND/ MUNITIONSFABRIKEN. BERLIN". Tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters., import marked barrel and bright bolt assembly and receiver with the remaining parts blue. Mounted on a pistol grip stock with the six pointed star DWM (Loewe) cartouche on the right rear.
