The German Labor Front was the sole labor union in Germany following the rise of the Nazi Party, and by membership numbers was one of the largest party organs. Tyrol-Vorarlberg, in western Austria, was one of the states created during the merger of Austria and Germany, and was combined with Italian territory in 1943 to form the Operational Zone of the Alpine Foothills.
