A) Massachusetts Arms Adams Navy Revolver

Made from 1857 to 1861. Blade front and notch rear sights, with the Kerr's Patent marking on the loading lever, the Mass. Arms address on the top strap and "ADAM'S PATENT/MAY 8th 1858" on the left side of the frame. Equipped with a sliding safety and a checkered 1-piece grip. Included with the lot is a custom brown leatherette case sized to fit both revolvers.

ConditionFine, with 40% of the original blue finish, showing areas of deep brown patina, bright edge wear, and scattered spotting and handling marks. Some mild pitting is also present around the breech, muzzle and cylinder. The grip is good, with sharp checkering and a few dents. Case is fine, with mild wear. Mechanically good.

Cone and notch sights, with the top strap marked "MADE FOR ADAMS REVOLVING ARMS CO. N.Y./BY MASS. ARMS CO. CHICOPEE FALLS./PATENT MAY 3. 1853. JUNE 3. 1856. APL. 7. 1857." Five shot cylinder with a sliding safety on the right side of the frame and loading lever mounted on the left side of the barrel. Checkered one piece grip with an iron grip cap. In case with A.

ConditionFine overall, showing a mixed brown patina with scattered dings and spotting. The grips are good, with some mild chips and dings. Mechanically fair.
