Manufactured in 1937 with a ramped front sight with absent hood, a filler block in the rear sight dovetail, a Lyman receiver mounted adjustable peep sight, a 3/4 magazine, metal forearm cap, quick release sling swivels, and is fitted with highly figured walnut checkered pistol grip stock and contrasting semi-beavertail forearm with a Winchester hard rubber grip cap and a red Winchester recoil pad.

Very fine as partially refinished and fitted with receiver sight. The rifle retains 95% plus of the blue finish with some small areas of fading or minor wear, a few light scratches, some light spotting, and some light handling/storage marks. The refurbished wood is very fine with only light handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent with mostly clear markings.
