Description:

This rifle was manufactured in 1893 and features a windage adjustable globe front sight, elevation adjustable sporting rear sight and a tang mounted Vernier peep sight. The "3" weight barrel is marked with the two line address and caliber designation on top. The lower tang has the serial number and patent marking. It is fitted with a smooth forearm and straight wrist stock with an ebony insert in the Schnabel tip and a casehardened rifle buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The rifle retains 75% plus of the faded original blue finish and 25% of the faded case colors. There is some spotting and minor marks. The wood is also fine and has a few dings and dents and several scratches. The action is excellent and the markings are clear.
