This unique Vierling combination gun features side by side 16 gauge shotgun barrels with 2 9/16 inch chamber and choked improved cylinder/full. These are over two 8.8 mm rifled barrels. With a fixed beaded blade front and flip up rear notch sights on the solid matte rib. The right barrel is marked "EMIL R. MARTIN" with "BONN" on the left. With standard pre World War II commercial proofs on the barrels. The scalloped box lock action with side clips is casehardened with tight floral and scroll engraving on the sides, top and break lever. The bottom of the action features a deep semi-relief engraved bulging stag on a wooded background and is marked "VIERLAUFER SYSTEM MARTIN". Features a unique triple trigger configuration with a horn trigger guard. Mounted on a multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a scalloped grip cap, cartridge trap, sling swivels and a checkered horn buttplate. Stock measurements are: Length of pull 13 7/8 inches; Drop at comb 1 21/32 inches; Drop at heel 2 7/8 inches; 1/8 inch cast off; 1/2 inch toe out.
