Description:

This is another rare example of an early German prototype pocket pistol we have to offer from a huge collection of pistols. This example is an early Deutsche Industries Hei=Mo Prototype pistol that is a single action, blow back design with an internal hammer. This design became the forerunner of several early German/Austrian automatic pistols. The top of the slide is marked "DEUTSCHE INDUSTRIE. HEI=MO EINGETR SCHUTZM", and the left side of the slide is marked "Kal 7.65". The right side of the pistol has the early "Crown/N" commercial proofmarks on the frame, slide and barrel. It has no other firing or acceptance proofs. It has the slightly longer grip frame, somewhat like the Spanish RUBY pistols, and it is fitted with checkered walnut grips. It is complete with its original magazine.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 50% of the original blue finish remaining showing even, honest wear overall with distinct markings and proofmarks. The grips are in very good condition with nice, distinct checkering on both sides mixed with some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
