Description:

The .700 Nitro Express was developed in 1988 by Jim Bell and William Feldstein and helped rekindle interest in large bore rifles. These five cartridges are head stamped with (HOLLAND&HOLLAND 700) and come in a wooden box/case marked with Holland & Holland markings and (.700 H&H/NITRO EXPRESS CARTRIDGES/3 1/2" CASE 1000 GRAIN SOFT NOSED BULLET). Inside the case is a slip from the Eldorado Cartridge Corporation extolling the fine manufacture of the ammunition and listing some safety precautions. The .700 Nitro Express is one of the strongest big game cartridges ever conceived and produces nearly four times the recoil of the hard hitting .45-70 Government and has roughly an astounding 8,900 ft/lbs of energy behind it.

Rating Definition:

The bullets and the case are as new with the packing foam still in place.
