The barrel has standard proof steel, model, trade mark, and caliber markings on the left upper flat, and the two-line address/patent information is on the right upper flat. The top of the barrel and receiver are stamped with the Winchester oval "WP" proof. Fitted with a dovetailed beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sporting notch sights and 11 groove flat bottom forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
