Description:

This is one of only 229 First Model 1891s manufactured by S&W. The accompanying factory letter lists this pistol with a 6 inch barrel in .32 caliber, adjustable rear target sight, blue finish and hard rubber extension grip when it was shipped to M.W. Robinson of New York City on July 24, 1894.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished. The revolver retains 98% plus of the frosted nickel-plating showing limited light flaking. The grip is good with a sizable missing chip, a repaired chip and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Terry Popkin collection.
