All New Model No. 3 frames were manufactured by 1898. These revolvers were the first S&W fitted with factory target sights and are highly desirable antique American revolver. This revolver has all matching serial numbers, the S&W trademark on the right, and checkered hard rubber grips embossed with the factory trademark on the tops. It comes with an also rarely seen factory green box with orange end label and the matching serial number in pencil on the bottom.
