This 18th century Continental European air gun has no visible markings but does have gold inlaid floral work and bands at the breech and engraving on the top and left side of the action. The tapering smoothbore barrel has a dovetail for mounting a front sight, and the action has a notch rear sight. The brass mounted iron reservoir serves as the butt.
