Blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with a "10-43" dated Inland barrel, type I barrel band, and an "S" marked rear sight base. The bolt is flat top, with a milled Inland trigger housing, unmarked button safety, and a "HI" hammer and magazine catch. The main stock body is of the two-rivet, high-wood, "slim jim" configuration, with "S" on the butt, steel rivets securing the leather cheekpiece, and a swiveling spring-loaded buttplate with proper casting marks. Magazine is absent.

Rating Definition:

Very good as restored, with 50% of the arsenal parkerized finish, showing areas of gray and brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The wood of the stock shows typical dents and scuffs of a field-used weapon, including the nearly universal wear from the buttplate on the left side. Some scuffing and cuts are visible on the cheekpiece, and the steel buttstock shows mild wear. Mechanically excellent.
