Manufactured in 1941. Dual bead sights on the raised matte, vent rib with 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, standard markings on the flats, and modified (.013)/improved modified (.028) chokes (marked "FULL/FULL"). Standard "D" grade engraving of hunting dogs and game birds on the receiver with a pointer on the right, setter on the left, and three pheasants on the underside. The balance features fine scroll patterns and the Remington "PARKER" marking on the underside. Single selective trigger and automatic tang safety. Checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with "PARKER/ILLION" marked hard rubber grip cap, blank initial oval, and solid rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .677/.678 inch; minimum wall thickness .026/.026 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 13 7/8 inches.

Very fine. 95% refinished blue remains on the barrels with some mild forearm wear, some light pitting under the blue, small scratches, and a trace of light spotting. The receiver has 40% original slightly muted case colors with crisp engraving, some light spotting, and an attractive gray patina on the balance. The refinished wood is also very fine with crisp well-defined checkering, scattered small dings, and added recoil pad. Mechanically excellent.
