The included factory letter confirms the serial number, scarce 3 inch barrel, finish, caliber, and December 3, 1962 date of shipment to Horse Shoe Gun Shop of Ft. Pierce, Florida as a single gun shipment. The letter further remarks that the revolver was returned to the factory on January 28, 1963, and then reshipped to Winsettes in Dillon, South Carolina on February 4, 1963. Fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights, two-line model and caliber marking on the left side of the barrel, two-line Hartford address on the right, standard frame markings, serrated hammer and trigger, and checkered Colt medallion grips.

Excellent. 97% plus original nickel finish remains with some light handling marks and dings, and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are very good with some wear to the checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1964. Fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights, standard barrel and frame markings, serrated trigger and hammer, early style long grip frame, and checkered grips with embossed Colt medallions.

Excellent. 98% original nickel finish remains with some very light edge wear on the cylinder, handling marks, and light cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering and gaps around the frame. Mechanically excellent.
