This light weight prototype Colt Government Model pistol features a black finished light weight aluminum frame with a standard Government Model slide. The slide is fitted with standard low profile sights and marked "GOVERNMENT/MODEL COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBER .45" followed by the Rampant Colt on the left side and the one line address on the right side. There are no other markings including no serial number. Serrated trigger, magazine release, thumb safety, hammer and arched mainspring housing. The lanyard ring has been removed with hole plugged. Fitted with checkered "woodgrain" plastic grips featuring a circled Rampant Colt molded in the center. Complete with a blued magazine marked "COLT/45 AUTO" on the bottom.
