Flat side receiver with "WP" proofed jewelled water table, gold washed single trigger with selector, and automatic sliding tang safety with gold inlaid "SAFE". The receiver is engraved with wedges of fine scroll and game scenes of a grouse on the right, pheasant on the left, a gold inlaid trout and two feathers on the underside, and a setter on the trigger guard. Attractively figured checkered walnut straight grip stock and beavertail forearm with ebony forend tip, engraved fittings, blank gold initial oval, and checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .659/.662; minimum wall thickness .042/.040; choke constriction .011/.016; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 7/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches.

Exceptionally fine as professionally embellished with 98% factory quality blue finish on the barrels, some small dings on the rib, light rib markings, and mild handling marks. The receiver has sharp, detailed engraving and some mild patina on the trigger. The wood is very fine with attractive color and figure, sharp checkering, and a few scattered, small dings. Mechanically excellent.
