Manufactured directly after the 1917 military contract, these Commercial Model 1917s lack U.S. property markings. This revolver has a left over U.S. inspected barrel and frame showing an "Eagle/S34" proof. Matching serial numbers are on the butt, barrel, and cylinder.

Very fine overall, retaining 85% original blue, mild handling evidence, some areas of light spotting, cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
