The coin finished boxlock action displays beautiful floral scroll engraving surrounding four individual game scenes on the left, right, underside, and triggerguard. The left shows a pointer holding a mallard in its mouth in a pond scene, the right has a pointer grasping a pheasant in a field, the underside shows a pair of bedded grouse, and the triggerguard has a pair of pheasants. The work is signed "R.DEWIL" on the left side for Browning Master Engraver Rene Dewil. The gun features a gold plated single trigger and tang mounted manual safety/selector switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with ventilated rubber Browning recoil pad. Includes a Browning Naugahyde takedown case.
