Receiver from 1956 production, with a gap between the "U.S./CAL." and "RIFLE /.30 M1" markings on top of receiver heel, denoting manufacture by Springfield Armory before being completed by International Harvester. Features a winged blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, "LMR 6 55" marked barrel, "IHC/D19" marked bolt, along with "IHC" marked trigger group, hammer, and operating rod. The stock is marked with an "eagle" cartouche on the left side above the trigger guard and "Circle P" proof on the front face of the grip. Includes green web sling and plastic charging handle cover.
