The included factory letter confirms the revolver as having a 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered for .38 Special, with nickel finish and grips not listed when shipped to the Gale Diehl Sporting Goods Store in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, on August 5, 1959, in a one gun shipment. Assembly number "139" is found on the loading gate and "310" on both grip panels. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, back strap, and cylinder (268). Includes reproduction Colt black box and manual.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% of original nickel finish with some minor handling marks, a cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent.
