Excellent World War II U.S. Army Contract Stevens Model 620 Slide Action Trench Shotgun - Serial no. 24517, 12 gauge, 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured on contract, the Stevens 620 was a refinement of the Model 520. A solid frame hammerless shotgun, the 620 was capable of being taken down for transport as well
   as having slam fire capability, making it both easy to move about as well as a vicious source of firepower. Adopted for the Army and Marine Corps for World War II, the 620 remained in service for Korea and Vietnam. A single brass bead sight is installed on the bayonet lug, with a six-hole heat shield, cylinder choke, the three line Chicopee Falls address on the right side of the barrel ahead of the “P/flaming bomb” stamps and
the gauge and 2 3/4 inch chamber markings on the left. A matching serial number is present on the left side of the mounting iron. The “P” and bomb are repeated on the left side of the receiver, with “MODEL 620” and “U.S” further to the back, and the serial number and “M/S” on the underside ahead of the trigger guard. Fitted with a smooth round forearm
and pistol grip stock, serrated plastic buttplate. 13 7/8 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing cycling wear on the magazine and action bar, bright edge wear, a correct plum tone to the bayonet lug, and mild handling marks. A dent is present in the underside of the stock just ahead of the sling swivel, otherwise the wood is excellent with mild dings and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 8,000 - 11,000

Excellent Documented U.S. Springfield Model 1903A1 National Match Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 1369506, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round
bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1930, two pieces of documentation are included with this rifle, a letter from Springfield
Research Service and a sales voucher. Both of these documents identify this rifle by serial number as a U.S. Model 1903 A1 National Match
Rifle sold via the Director of Civilian Marksmanship to a Harold Dickerson of West Roxbury, Mass., and shipped from Springfield Armory on
December 14, 1933. Period records confirm a Harold Dickerson of the same listed address as a competitive shooter active in the 1930s, and
a winner of at least one NRA rifle competition; Dickerson passed on in 1959. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights (sans volley notch),
with a star gauged “SA/4-31” barrel and a matching electro-penciled serial number on the bolt, which has a “NS” marked handle. The barrel is
marked “K/48” and “R17” beneath the forearm. The stock has a “D.A.L.” inspector cartouche on the left side, a block “P” on the underside of the
wrist and a matching serial number on the stock belly just ahead of the rear sling swivel, and a sharply checkered buttplate. Included with the rifle is an unmarked muzzle protector and a modern plastic case.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus original parkerized finish, showing some minor wear and handling marks overall. The bolt shows some minor spotting and bright original polishing. The stock is very fine as reoiled, with some light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
