Cased, Factory Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Smith & Wesson Model 25-5 Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter and Hank Williams Jr. Inscription - Serial no. N698050, 45 LC cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl., blue/gold finish, original grips. Near
full coverage Class A+ floral scroll engraving mixed with geometric patterns. The left side of the frame features a relief engraved, gold inlaid bear scene,
the sideplate shows a gold mountain lion on a cliff side, and the back strap is inscribed “HANK” in fancy script and flanked by two gold five pointed stars. S&W Artisan Master Engraver, Domingos Joaquim, signed his work with his trademark eagle head on the underside of the ejector shroud. The included factory
the special engraving and gold inlay, when it was shipped from the factory on December 19, 1979 to G.T. Distributors of Rossville, GA. This revolver was ordered through G.T. Distributors for country music legend Hank Williams Jr. and includes a certificate of authenticity confirming his ownership as well as the factory case and cleaning tools.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and gold finishes, limited handling evidence, and faint cylinder drag lines. The case is very good with light storage wear and a puncture in the lining. Mechanically excellent.
