World War II German Berlin-Lubecker “duv 43” Code G41 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 2801h, 8 mm cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. Manufactured in 1943 before the introduction of the G43 rifle, the G41 was one of the only production model semi-automatic rifles to use the “gas trap” system as opposed to the gas port used on the G43 which has become the de-facto standard for gas-
  operated weaponry from World War II up through the modern day. The barrel has the standard blade front and tangent rear sights, the model and manufacturer markings on the left side of the finely machined receiver, machined metal dust cover, and a machined bolt carrier with a solid cocking knob, and a left side mounted bolt catch. Fitted with a smooth laminated pistol grip stock, with a double “Eagle/Waffenamt” proof on the right side, resin handguard and a cupped stamped steel buttplate. It has matching external numbers, including on the buttstock. Included is a WWII German brown leather sling and cleaning rod. CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing scattered spotting/oxidization, edge wear and mild handling marks. The stock is also very fine with a number of dings and scratches. The otherwise fine sling shows some cracking and drying. Mechanically excellent. This exceptional G41 will fill the void in your World War II collection very nicely! Estimate: 5,500 - 8,500

World War II Gustloff Werke “bcd” Code G43 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 7113a, 8 mm cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with a matching numbered bolt carrier with fine machining and a solid cocking knob. The stock is fitted with a cupped steel buttplate and stamped with German proofs on the left side. One magazine, “aye” marked, is included. CONDITION: Very fine with 85% of the original blue finish, showing mild spotting on the barrel and receiver, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The stock is fine, with scattered dings and scuffing. Mechanically functions, but needs adjustment. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500
LOT 1558 World War II Berlin-Lubecker “duv 44” Code G43 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 8530b, 8 mm cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the standard markings on the left side of the receiver. Both the receiver and bolt carrier are forged and machined, with the manual catch on the right side of the carrier, and matching numbers on the frame, bolt carrier, and electro- penciled into the extractor. Fitted with a smooth stock with a resin upper handguard, matching serial number on the underside, and a cupped trapdoor buttplate. A “dow” code ZF4 scope, serial number “18531” is included, with a pair of leather lens caps and an “eagle/359” marked mount. CONDITION: Very good plus, with 30% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, scattered spotting and mild handling marks. The stock is fine, with scuffs and dents. Scope retains 40% original blue on the exterior, reticle is solid, with hazy optics and mild external wear. Mount and scope caps are fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500
