no. 78906E, 357 magnum cal., 6 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1977. Colt factory Type “A” 25% coverage floral scroll engraving
on the barrel,
frame, and cylinder.
Otherwise,
standard markings and features. “COLT ENG.” marked on grip frame. Includes a factory leatherette case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, a faint cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent, although cylinder latch sometimes sticks. Case is good with storage and handling marks, a partially detached hinge, and high edge wear on the lining.

Desirable Early Production Colt Python Double Action Revolver with Box - Serial no. 3032, 357 magnum cal., 6 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1957. Standard markings and features. Includes original Colt factory two-piece “woodgrain” box and original test target. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, a cylinder drag line,
and crisp grip checkering. Box is very good with a repairable split corner and storage and handling wear.

Scarce Colt 150th Anniversary Double Diamond Matched Two Gun Set -A) Colt Double Diamond Python Double Action Revolver - Serial no. DD0807, 357 magnum cal., 6 inch vent rib bbl., stainless finish, walnut grips. This is an excellent example of a very difficult to find Colt 150th Anniversary “Double Diamond” set that includes both the Colt Officer’s ACP pistol and the Colt Python revolver. This set is number 807 of 1,000 sets manufactured in 1986. Both guns bear the “ Double COLT/150 Diamond/357 MAGNUM CTG.” marking on the left side of the barrel or slide of the
respective models and features including bright stainless
steel finish and smooth walnut grips
bearing Colt medallions.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with limited handling marks,
a faint cylinder drag line, and very minimal slight blemishes in
the grip finish. Mechanically excellent. B) Colt Double Diamond Officer’s ACP Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 0807DD, 45 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., stainless finish, walnut grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall with some light spotting on the top of the slide and limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Gus Cargile Collection.

Manufactured in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States with standard commemorative markings and features. Cased with “B” and “C”. Includes a case for all three guns and a
copy of the “ARMSMEAR” book.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case and book are both very fine with some storage and handling marks.
B) Colt Python U.S. Bicentennial Double Action Revolver - Serial no. 0208PY, 357 magnum cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States of America. Standard markings and features.
Fits in case with “A” and “C”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. C) Colt Black Powder Series Dragoon Percussion Revolver with Accessories - Serial no. 0208DG, 44 cal., 7 1/2 inch part octagon bbl., blue/casehardened/silver finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States of America. Standard markings and features. Cased with “B” and “C”. Includes powder flask, bullet mould,
cap tin, and nipple wrench.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% of the original blue and silver finishes and case colors with an attractive patina on the silver and limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
