Winchester Model 1886 Lightweight Takedown Lever Action Rifle - Serial no.
144299, 33 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1907. The rifle features a beaded blade Lyman front sight, folding two leaf
 Lyman rear sight, tang peep sight, half
magazine and buttstock with hard rubber shotgun buttplate. The barrel has
the two-line address/patent dates marking and “33 W.C.F.” on top and the two-line nickel
steel marking on the left side. Correct Winchester factory oval proofs are present. The lower tang has the patent date and the serial number. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish with thinning to gray on the balance. Traces of original nitre blue remain on the loading gate. 75% original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The refinished wood is fine with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Action Saddle Ring Trapper’s Carbine with 14 Inch Barrel
and ATF Exemption Letter - Serial no. 793359, 30 WCF cal., 14 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1915. Standard markings including factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, and a saddle ring mounted to the left of the receiver. The receiver is non-factory drilled and tapped

Documented First Year Production Winchester Model 1887 Lever Action Shotgun with Factory Letter - Serial no. 1631, 12 gauge, 30 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. The included factory letter confirms the current barrel length and gauge when it was received in the warehouse July 30, 1887 and shipped from the warehouse with 29 other guns on August 2, 1887 (the first year of production). Standard markings and features including the “WRACO” monogram and single brass bead sight. Smooth forend panels and pistol grip stock with stippled buttplate. Length of pull is 12 3/4 inches.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue, a patch of cold blue touch up visible around both sides of the muzzle, 70% case colors on the receiver, hammer, and lever, areas showing some spotting, and mild overall handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with scattered mild dings and scratches.
Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500
     for sight mounting on the right with filler screws in place. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. Accompanied by a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives listing this carbine
as being removed from the NFA (National Firearms Act) and classified as a curio and relic (dated 2 October 1981). CONDITION: Very good, retains 70% original blue on the receiver with the barrel and magazine tube refinished, the balance a smooth grey patina and some scattered patches of mild pitting. The refinished wood is also very good with a few minor dings and scratches, and some minor chips near the tangs. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Brandhorst Collection. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500
