   LOT 3412 Factory Engraved Karl Kormes Boxlock Vierling with Scope - Serial no. 19183, 16/16/22/8x57R gauge, 25 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/bright finish, walnut stock. Barrels are dated “538” (May, 1938). Blued Krupp- Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip up rear sights as well as German claw mounts for the included Zeiss Zielvier on the solid matted rib which is marked “KARL KORMES, LEIPZIG”, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and choke constrictions of .036/.032 inches (full/full). The bright aluminum, sideclipped boxlock action with steel reinforcements featuring light floral scroll engraving, bushed
firing pins, double triggers, Greener safety, and tang mounted selector switch. The barrel release displays a fine gold inlaid “K”. Lightly figured, multi-point
checkered walnut forend with Deeley style latch and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, cheekpiece, blued cartridge trap, and hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull 14 1/8 inches.
Weight 8 lbs 5 oz with scope. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish, some areas of minor spotting, and general light handling evidence. The wood is very good with a few visible repairs on each side of the stock head and the toe, scattered minor scratches, and sharp checkering. The scope optics are mostly clear with minor hazing. Mechanically, rear sight does not stand, otherwise excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 7,000
LOT 3413 Unknown Engraved German Sidelock Double Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 2146, 8.15X46R cal., 26 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blue Krupp Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and two position rear sights as well as German claw mounts for a B.Nickel 4x81 scope on the matted solid rib. The barrels also bears standard German proof, “1038” (October, 1938) date code, bands
of engraving at either breech, and automatic ejectors. The casehardened sidelock action features English style rose & scroll engraving with line borders, sideclips, cocking indicators, double triggers, and a Greener style safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut splinter forend with Deeley latch release and engraved fitting and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and horn grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 13 13/16 inches. Weight 8 lbs 4 oz with scope.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue with an area of reapplied blue near the left breech, 75% original case colors with much of the original varnish
remaining as well, light handling evidence, and some areas showing minor spotting. The wood is also very fine with a few minor marks/dings, a few insect holes in the heel of the buttplate, and sharp checkering. The scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,750

a dog and partridge on the right, and deer on the underside with the remaining area showing floral scroll patterns. Double triggers and automatic tang mounted safety switch. Lightly figured splinter forend with Deeley latch release and engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, cheekpiece, and horn buttplate. Includes a leather sling. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 5 1/6 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 4 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% original blue on the barrels with some fading, 25% original case colors, mild handling evidence, a few small marks in the wood, and crisp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,500
LOT 3415 Engraved O. Geyger & Co. 16 Gauge Boxlock Ejector Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 13697, 16 gauge, 29 1/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1939. Krupp-Laufstahl barrels with matted solid rib marked “O. GEYGER & Co. BERLIN”, chambers measured at 2 1/2 inches with ejectors, and standard German proofs. The casehardened, scalloped, sideclipped boxlock action displays tight scroll engraving along with “O. Geyger & Co.” and “BERLIN” on the left and right respectively. Double triggers, cocking indicators, and manual tang mounted safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered, splinter forend with Deeley latch, contrasting tip inlay, and engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with blank silver initial oval and horn trigger guard and buttplate. The Geyger firm made guns for German nobility and was referred to as the “German Purdey” by Dietrich Apel. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 2 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% plus original blue and 80% original case colors with the balance an attractive silver patina. A few small scratches on the barrels and overall light handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with a few nicks and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,500
